Compare light at crop height

Measure photosynthetically active radiation where plants are growing. Compare shaded and exposed positions, or follow changes before and after supplemental lighting is switched on.

Record light for nurseries and research

Nursery and ecological monitoring teams can use the same photon-flux measurement. Keep the optical surface clean and level, and match the chosen output to the logger input.

Buying this equipment

Samples & minimum quantity
Ask for a sample or a small pilot. Availability, minimum quantity and sample charges depend on the selected model.
Price & delivery
Range, interface, accessories, quantity and destination affect the quote. Stock, lead time, freight, taxes and delivery terms need confirmation.
Warranty & support
Coverage, duration, exclusions and the fault-assessment process are confirmed for the quoted model before order.
Certificates & documents
Tell us the destination and required standard. We check the exact model, document revision and applicable documents for the proposed configuration.

Installation and selection

  • Mount the sensing surface horizontally and keep its optical path clear.
  • Use the PAR configuration when reporting photon flux density. A broadband W/m² radiation configuration measures a different quantity.
  • Confirm calibration coefficient, cable, input scaling and chosen output before connecting a logger.

Frequently asked questions

What does this sensor measure for a greenhouse?

The PAR configuration measures photon flux density in the 400–700 nm band. Place it near a representative growing position to compare available plant light. A broadband radiation reading in W/m² is a different measurement.

Which output should I choose for my logger?

Choose the PAR sensor output that matches the logger input: 0–2,000 mV, two-wire 4–20 mA or RS485. Confirm the matching supply, calibration coefficient, cable and input scaling before ordering.

What should I provide when requesting a quote for the PAR Quantum Sensor?

Crop or growing environment; PAR or broadband radiation quantity; Logger input or RS485 protocol; Supply voltage, cable length and mounting

Where can I compare available model options?

Open the Weather-station equipment selection guide linked on this page. Use it to compare equipment options before requesting a configuration.

Will it work with my existing system?

Check the field signal, supply, protocol and receiving platform against the selected model. The connection options listed on this page are a starting point; send your equipment model or interface document so we can check the combination before ordering.
