Use local weather to plan farm work

Observe weather at other outdoor sites

Select the channels and interface before treating this as one weather station
The instrument is configured with selected measurement channels. The quotation lists the installed modules.
Wind speed and wind direction are mandatory. The five-channel set adds air temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure; the six-channel set adds precipitation; the nine-channel set adds precipitation, solar radiation, illuminance and dust.
RS485, RS232 and SDI-12 are alternatives, not simultaneous standard outputs. Modbus RTU is the default protocol for RS485; NMEA-0183 and SDI-12 require their matching ordered interface.
The base instrument is below 3 W in the product documentation. Optional ultrasonic-head heating and added sensor modules change the site power budget and must be sized separately.

IP66 protects the instrument enclosure, but it does not remove the need for correct siting, mast rigidity, grounding, lightning / surge protection, obstruction clearance and periodic inspection.
For regulatory-reference measurements, confirm that the selected instrument, calibration documents and test criteria meet the intended use. A monitoring configuration alone does not establish regulatory suitability.

Use this integrated instrument when a site needs ultrasonic wind measurement plus a selected weather-data set in one compact mast-mounted housing. Wind speed and direction are mandatory; temperature, humidity and pressure form the standard five-channel set, while precipitation or the broader nine-channel set are ordered only when the project needs them. The output, protocol, heater, positioning functions, cable and mounting package are selected together rather than assumed from the enclosure image.

Which measurements are included in the ultrasonic weather station?
Wind speed and direction are mandatory. The five-channel set adds air temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. A six-channel set adds precipitation, while the nine-channel set additionally includes solar radiation, illuminance and dust. The quotation identifies the exact ordered channels.
Can it connect to a Modbus RTU logger or gateway?
Yes, when the RS485 Modbus RTU configuration is selected. RS232 NMEA-0183 and SDI-12 are separate interface / protocol choices; they are not assumed to be available simultaneously.
Can the instrument be installed on a vehicle or vessel?
A mobile installation can be reviewed with the optional GPS / BDS and electronic-compass functions. Mounting rigidity, orientation, motion compensation, power and the receiving system must be checked for the specific platform.
Does IP66 mean the weather station is maintenance-free?
No. The ultrasonic wind path has no rotating cups or vane, but the installed system still requires obstruction clearance, sound mounting, grounding, surge protection and periodic inspection. Optional precipitation and other sensing channels may add their own cleaning or inspection needs.
