The sensor reports rainfall intensity and detects precipitation types. Compare the readings with the farm’s irrigation record, then agree local thresholds and actions with the operator. Rainfall measurement alone does not control irrigation or establish a flood warning.
Can I connect it to an existing weather logger?
Select the documented interface for your logger: RS485, RS232 or SDI-12. Modbus RTU is the default protocol; SDI-12 is available in the matching configuration. Confirm the chosen combination, supply, cable and mast position before installation.
