LoRaWAN Water Leak Sensor

LoRaWAN water leak sensor with a remote probe and periodic or event-driven reporting for pump rooms, equipment spaces and distributed facilities.

Category: Water & Wastewater Instrumentation

Representative image

Representative LoRaWAN water-leak node visual derived from a reviewed exact-model reference and independently de-identified. It is not the final ordered-model photograph; regional frequency, hardware revision, probe and cable, reporting interval, battery, enclosure and markings are confirmed in the quotation.

Confirm the leak path and LoRaWAN coverage before deployment

The reviewed evidence supports a battery-powered LoRaWAN node with a remote water-leak probe and both periodic and event-driven reporting.

  • Place the probe where the first water is expected to collect, not simply beside the nearest wall or controller.
  • Keep the radio enclosure accessible and away from routine washdown, impact and metal shielding that can reduce radio performance.
  • Confirm the regional frequency plan, gateway coverage, network server and payload handling before the pilot.
  • Define the normal report interval, leak-event behavior, restoration message and escalation path with the receiving platform.
  • The reviewed source records disagree on the operating-temperature limit. The final hardware revision and temperature rating are therefore confirmed in the quotation.

Typical applications

  • Pump-room floors and valve areas where a local leak should be reported before routine inspection
  • Mechanical rooms, equipment cabinets and raised-floor zones with a defined water path
  • Distributed facilities that already have LoRaWAN coverage or can share a site gateway
  • Leak-alert projects that need monitoring only, with shutoff logic handled by a separate reviewed control system
