Online EC probe family with selectable materials and ranges, ±1% FS accuracy, and simultaneous 4-20 mA plus RS485 Modbus RTU output.
Category: Water & Wastewater Instrumentation
Representative image
Representative online conductivity-probe visual interpreted from a reviewed exact-model reference and independently de-identified. It is not an exact product photograph; Type A/B/C/D construction, range, pressure, temperature, process connection, cable, output, markings and certificates are confirmed in the quotation.

Choose the probe type from the medium, pressure and temperature
The four mechanical families do not share the same wetted materials or service limits.
- Type A uses an ABS body with graphite electrodes and is reviewed to 0.8 MPa. Type B uses nylon fibre with 316 stainless steel; Type C uses nylon fibre with graphite. Types B and C are reviewed to 1.0 MPa.
- Type D uses 316L and PEEK wetted materials, supports the reviewed high-temperature configuration and is reviewed to 2.0 MPa. Confirm whether the installation uses the Type D two-wire 4-20 mA option or the standard simultaneous-output configuration.
- Select a documented range. Types A/B/C support 0-2000, 0-5000, 0-10000 or 0-20000 µS/cm; Type C also supports reviewed custom ranges. Type D supports 0-50, 0-500, 0-10000 or 0-20000 µS/cm.
- Install the conductivity cell where it remains wetted and where bubbles do not collect across the measurement opening. Confirm immersion depth or NPT3/4 process geometry before release.
- The probe is not maintenance-free: deposits, oil, biofilm and scale change the cell response. Define cleaning access, inspection frequency and the reference solution or comparison method.
- IP68 applies to the probe. Cable entries, junctions, controllers and enclosures require their own environmental protection.
- A matching manual documents calculated TDS and salinity data, but the direct measurement is EC. Confirm the ordered firmware/register set, conversion, units, temperature basis and acceptance method before using either derived value.
Typical applications
- Freshwater, aquaculture and surface-water conductivity trend monitoring
- Wastewater and process-water monitoring after wetted-material and fouling review
- Pipe or tank installations using simultaneous analog and Modbus signals
- Higher-temperature or higher-pressure service using the selected Type D configuration
